GlobalFest is proud to return for its 9th year as Canada’s largest multicultural and fireworks festival, designed to promote multiculturalism and celebrate diversity. GlobalFest includes up to 20 cultural pavillions, 12 ethnic food kiosks, 3 performance stages, a 12 vendor night market, a cafe and International car, as well as a Calgary Co-ops Kiddies Korral for the little ones.

Once the sun has set, the Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival begins and showcases one 25 minute pyro-musical performance from a selected international team each night. This year, fireworks will be brought to you by China, Philippines, Canada and Italy. Our fireworks presentations are elctronically synchronized with music from the presenting countries and are among the biggest and brightest fireworks to be seen in Canada.

Southland Transportation will be providing a shuttle service from Marlborough Mall (#1464, 515 Marlborough Way NE), on the north side of the mall (near Sears), to Elliston Park at a cost of $6.00 per person (round trip). The first shuttle will leave for Elliston Park at 5:30pm. The last shuttle to leave Elliston Park will be at 11:30pm to bring you back to Marlborough Mall.
