President Aroyo of the Philippines signed the Dual Citizenship bill, Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Act of 2003 (Republic Act No. 9225) on December 17 2003. This allows Filipinos all over the world to acquire / re-aquire their Philippine citizenship.
