EdmontonFilipino.com is a provider of up-to-date Community News, Filipino Concerts, Filipino Events, Basketball League News and Filipino Business in Edmonton.
EdmontonFilipino.com allows any Filipino Business, Filipino Event, Filipino Concert or Filipino Basketball League to promote their content online. EdmontonFilipino.com has been in development since February 2008 and serves Edmonton’s Filipino Community just as CalgaryFilipino.com serves Calgary’s Filipino Community. Both websites are part of the Canadian Filipino News Network (CFNN), which continues to develop and promote Filipino Communities across Canada and OFW’s (Overseas Foreign Workers) around the world.
Edmonton Filipino’s target demographic is anyone interested in learning more about the Filipino Community. According to the 2006 national census, 21,150 Filipinos live and work in the Edmonton Capital Region. Edmonton’s increasing population and labour shortage of skilled labourers, guarantees the Filipino Community to continue grow and prosper.
Filipino’s also refer to themselves as Pinoys. Pinoy is a term that is usually used between Filipino’s and is a popular name used in the culture.
CalgaryFilipino.com has been online for over two years and has become one of the web’s most popular resources, not only for Calgary Filipino content, but also for Filipino’s all over the world with over 9,000+ pageviews per month and a growing number of unique viewers per month which is currently at 3,000+.
