Full-Time Admin Assistant and Project Coordinator

Axiom Geomatics has a great opportunity for our new Admin Assistant and Project Manager. We are a growing land survey firm seeking the right candidates and hope to hear from you. Axiom Geomatics, is prepared to support you while you learn how to do the tasks required for this job, as on the job training is expected.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:


*Using effective English Communicating with and on behalf of the Business to our clients through phone, email and text.

*Set up projects and ensure field crews have the information they need.

*Ensure the online project tracking system is up to date and maintained.

*Submit Survey projects to the city of calgary and surrounding municipalities. (car will be required, KM are paid for).

*Client Invoicing (through quick books)

*Payroll (though quick books)


*Excellent understanding of google apps, including google drive, Gmail and google maps is a *must*.

*Some understanding of invoicing, sales and/or accounting would be an asset but willing to train up on the basics for the right candidate.

*A commitment and demonstrated experience in customer service.

*Effective written and verbal communication skills.

*Must be very organised and able to keep track of tasks that need to be completed.

Hours are flexible, but you must be available for the bulk of the working day.

Work and Training will happen at our home based office location in NW calgary, but you can complete many of the job duties through the “cloud” so the opportunity for some work-from-home is available using a supplied laptop.
