As the Pacquiao De La Hoya fight draws near (Saturday, December 6, 2008), this highly anticipated fight is sure to be one of the greatest fights in boxing history.

Despite reports stating the fight was stalled in mid-August, due to talks to renegotiate Pacquiao’s initial offer of 30% from Golden Boy Promotions, the fight is still on. Reportedly, the new purse will give Pacquiao a 35 / 65 split, who was looking for a better deal at 40%. If this fight makes $100M, this will be Pacquiao’s biggest purse in his career at $15M.
